Roof Hatches and Railings

Models are available in aluminum or galvanneal steel with a powder coat finish to meet your roof access needs. The curb and cover have R-6 polyiso insulation for increased energy efficiency. Formerly known as the SSH, NSH or LH series.

  • This domed roof hatch provides single-handed opening and closing for safe and easy access to rooftops from ladders and stairs. Polyiso insulation provides an energy-saving upgrade along with a durable, powder coat paint finish. Formerly known as the DLH series.

  • Adding a stand-alone, self-closing, telescoping steel gate can provide protection for existing safety railings with chains. This rigid, self-closing gate can help you comply with OSHA CFR 29 -1910.29 by providing additional fall protection of rooftop openings.

  • The Safety Grab Bar installs on the outside of the roof hatch cap flashing, providing an additional point of contact for personnel accessing the roof. 

Smoke Vents

  • Domed smoke vents provide natural daylighting where smoke vents are installed and are insulated with R-6 polyiso. These UL-listed smoke vents automatically open during a fire when a fusible link melts, releasing harmful smoke and fumes. Galvanneal steel curb and aluminum cover have a durable powder coat finish. Formerly known as the UDFV, and FSHD series.
